Er hat erfolgreich ein Aufbaustudium an der Ludwig-Maximilans-Universit\u00e4t M\u00fcnchen in Deutschland (Magister Legum, LL.M.) absolviert. Mit einem Stipendium des Bundeslandes Bayern studierte er am Lehrstuhl von Professor Claus Wilhelm Canaris, wo er sich auf b\u00fcrgerliches Recht und Handelsrecht spezialisierte. Seit 1995 ist er als Rechtsanwalt sowohl f\u00fcr Privatpersonen als auch f\u00fcr Gesellschaften t\u00e4tig, die er entweder vor Gericht vertritt oder rechtlich ber\u00e4t. Er ist rechtlicher Berater in verantwortungsvoller Position der Rechtsabteilungen juristischer Personen und \u00f6ffentlicher Organisationen. Er hat als Referent an Konferenzen und Tagungen teilgenommen und verfasst Beitr\u00e4ge f\u00fcr Fachzeitschriften. Er ist Gr\u00fcndungsmitglied der internationalen Rechtsanwaltsnetzwerke &#8222;Interjures&#8220;, &#8222;Marcalliance&#8220;&nbsp;und &#8222;Associated European Energy Consultants&#8220;. Er unterrichtet Recht Erneuerbarer Energien f\u00fcr Juristen und F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte aus der Wirtschaft am Zentrum f\u00fcr Europ\u00e4isches Verfassungsrecht &#8211; Themistokles und Dimitris Tsatsos Stiftung. Mit einem Stipendium der franz\u00f6sischen Regierung absolvierte er in Paris an der \u00c9cole National d\u00b4 Administration einen Lehrgang \u00fcber Korruptionsbek\u00e4mpfung. Er spricht Englisch, Franz\u00f6sisch und Deutsch. Als Nachfolger seines Vaters, Rechtsanwalt Giannis Michelis, \u00fcbt er den Rechtsanwaltsberuf in zweiter Generation aus. Er ist Gr\u00fcnder und Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer der Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft \u201eMichelis \u2013 Strongylaki \u2013
