avia-builder-el-no-sibling  \"><section class=\"av_textblock_section\"><div class=\"avia_textblock \"><p>Tania Kyriakou is a lawyer specialising in data protection, EU law, human rights and cultural heritage law. After graduating from the law school of Athens in 1995, she continued her studies (LLM, PhD) in Edinburgh. Her PhD thesis focused on EU constitutionalism and human rights.\u00a0<\/p><p>Tania was a\u00a0law lecturer at the University of Warwick (2002-2006), a legal auditor for the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (2009-2012) and an on-line instructor for the LLM programmes of the University of Liverpool (2010-2016). She\u00a0is currently\u00a0a consultant on data protection issues, coordinating the GDPR compliance project of a big number of companies. Tania is also a legal counsel for the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports, an instructor at the Greek Open University and\u00a0a member of the National Committee for the Implementation of the UNESCO Convention for the safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage.\u00a0She has participated in numerous research projects and law-making committees and she has written several articles on her fields of specialisation.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/div><\/section><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/section>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/section>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tania Kyriakou Special Counsel &nbsp;
