MStR Law participated in the Workshop and Panel Discussion on the \u201cGreek Golden Visa Programme: Current status, international comparison and future opportunities\u201d which was organised by \u201cEnterprise Greece\u201d and the \u201cInvestment Migration Council\u201d (IMC) on 29 May 2017 in Grande Bretagne Hotel.<\/p>\n

The Workshop and Panel Discussion was attended by institutions that are active in the development and promotion of the programme, both nationally and globally, with speeches and presentations, as it is an initiative implemented in more than ninety countries worldwide. Many speakers honoured the event with their presence including Mr Stergios Pitsiorlas, Deputy Minister for Economy and Development, responsible for the Greek Golden Visa Programme, Mr Ioannis Balafas, Deputy Minister for Migration Policy, and Ms Angela Michalopoulou, Director General for Investments, Enterprise Greece, as well as IMC representatives.<\/p>\n

The speakers have described the Program as a great development opportunity and stressed in particular its economic and political importance, including it in the “Access, Stay and Presence in Europe” triad. Great interest was given to the recommendations on the overview and the comparison of the Golden Visa programmes that are implemented in various European countries, as well as on the factors that make such programmes attractive and the role of agents. Starting from the assumption that the Greek Golden Visa programme has already been widely accepted, it is worth mentioning that the 600 permits of 2013 (import year) amounted to 1684 in 2017. The speakers noted that this is a promising field for Greece with even greater growth potential describing it as particularly attractive.<\/p>\n

MStR Law supports non EU investors to safely buy properties in Greece or invest in other sectors of the Greek economy, covering at the same time the entire process for acquiring the Greek Golden Visa by them or their families.<\/p>\n
